Eligibility criteria:
• You must be a business or social enterprise based in England
• You must employ between 2 and 249 full time equivalent employees
• For organisations employing less than 50 staff, only the Owner/CEO or equivalent can access the funding
• For organisations employing 50 – 249 staff, key directors/key managers who report directly to the most senior person and have a strategic responsibility for the business are eligible
• You must aspire to grow your business
Note: The grant will fund the development of people related Leadership and Management skills. It will not support the development of Sales, Marketing, Online (SEO / Social Media etc), IT or Finance skills development.
Ineligible organisations
• Public Sector organisations (including Local Authority schools)
• Organisations who do not aspire to grow
How the grant works
Organisations can claim up to a maximum of £1000, this must be matched £ for £. VAT is not reclaimable. i.e.
• Support Programme costs £1000 + VAT, you may claim £500
• Support Programme costs £2,500 + VAT, the client may claim £1,000

A few important points to note:
• The grant will not fund interventions retrospectively.
• You are required to complete a grant application form as well as meet with an independent grant adviser who will authorise and register your claim.
• If you plan to use the grant you must get it approval from a grant adviser before booking on anything you expect the grant to fund.
• Activity supported by the grant must commence within 90 days of the grant being approved. All grants are exclusive of VAT and must be claimed within 90 days.
