Jeff is an experienced change manager and business strategist. Over the past 18 years Jeff has been a director of a successful software CAD/CAM company, has converted a castle into a thriving business centre and been a senior manager for Business Link Hampshire advising on how to successfully grow and manage change. More recently he has worked with the Learning & Skills Council / Skills Funding Agency where he has been able to demonstrate the benefits of developing people within a defined business strategy. Over the couple of years Jeff, as a registered Investors in People Assessor / Adviser, has developed a number of interactive management programmes for small organisations who are considering developing their business. Jeff has been pivotal within the Learning & Skills Council / Skills Funding Agency in initiating the National Skills Academies for:- o Manufacturing o Nuclear o Materials, Production & Supply o Process Industries and o Power In addition Jeff (who has a degree in Environmental Science and is a member of IEMA) is involved with the Low Carbon sector in the SE Region as well as: Marine South East, Hampshire Economic Partnership and the Farnborough Aerospace Consortium. As an Investors in People Specialist Jeff has assessed a wide range or organisations from a range of sectors including manufacturing, computer software and support, education, health care, retail, leisure, construction and the not for profit sector. Jeff is an experienced and effective trainer and facilitator, and works with senior management teams to ensure they have the skills and capabilities to manage change and the development of their people. Jeff has worked with businesses as small as a five people building firm to a 20,000 employee national organisation and every combination between. Jeff is an experienced sailor and spent 2 years sailing around the world. More recently he is enjoying the thrills and spills of dinghy sailing.
