Who are ManagersPitStop?
ManagersPitStop is an innovative website borne from a vision of founder Neil Annis to make your life as a Manager, Trainer, Coach or Consultant easier and save you time energy and money in developing the skills you seek.
Although an experienced Manager, Presenter, Coach, Facilitator and Consultant, Neil's vision for ManagersPitStop was to develop an inclusive rather then exclusive business built on FREE training. He intends to work with a growing number of subject experts to provide you with the training and support you want, when you want it .
Who presents the tutorials?
All of the tutorials are bite size audio visual sessions recorded by expert trainer Linda Campbell. Linda has over 15 years experience training managers of varying levels of experience in the private, public and voluntary sectors and for small medium and large blue chip organisations. Linda has trained in the UK, Europe, USA and Australasia. Linda is based in New Zealand.

Tell me more about ManagersPitStop founder Neil Annis
An experienced Presenter, Facilitator, Speaker, Coach and Trainer, Neil's career has seen him work in small medium and large organisations and both the private and public sectors.
Neil's experience ranges from Business Advice, Newspapers, Logistics and FMCG. The latter was where as national sales trainer Neil helped launch brand name OTC products into Eastern Europe just as the Berlin Wall came down. (If you ever meet Neil do ask him about his experiences of training people in Budapest, none of whom spoke English - that certainly kept him on his toes!!) Before setting up in business Neil worked for 7 years supporting other businesses to grow working for UK Government support agencies; Training & Enterprise Councils & Business Links. Two notable success of this time where: 1) To facilitate businesses through an international renowned 5 day psychology based development programme; helping Leaders, Management teams and complete businesses to create positive and meaningful changes in order to help them achieve their potential. 2) Working with disaffected youth in areas of depravation; engaging with and motivating them helping them to consider their future and to become more accountable for their own actions.
His first business was a successful consultancy and training enterprise which ran with business partner Linda Campbell for 5 years before she emigrated. This business achieved success on a national level by creating a unique and effective employer engagement strategy for promoting the Investor in People quality standard to SMEs. This proved so effective 18 of England's 24 Business Link regions adopted it. The strategy they created became the single most effective approach in England and accounted for over 70% of project outputs over a two-year period; over 6000 business decision makers benefited. Neil and his business partner of the time also devised a simple yet effective approach to identifying training needs and created a unique Training Needs Analysis tool. This has been used for a number of years in the UK by Business Link / Train to Gain (working with LSC training funds) and in the USA by Community Colleges (working with WedNet training funds). A practical and effective approach to identifying training needs this tool has helped in appropriate investment of millions of £s & $s to grow skills of thousands of individuals as part of regional Workforce & Economic Development strategies.
Before setting up ManagersPitStop Neil also worked with Linda Campbell (NZ) and Toni Reece (US) to create the PEOPLE model, an innovative framework to adopt for coaching and developing people. Together they co-authored a book on the PEOPLE model "Let the leaders steer and the people drive".
Over the years Neil has presented to thousands of decision makers in the business community and continues to be a presenter of choice for Government funding agencies.
Neil is happily married to Jo and they have two children Jack & Toby. They live in Kent (UK).
